There are many different organizational issues where Lean can help. We have extensive experience in advisory and consultancy issues in implementing a Lean process. We use methods such as Strategy Deployment, A3, Gemba Walking, Kaizen, Problem Solving, Coaching On The Job and Training Within Industry. And together with our clients, we achieve great results and engagement at all levels of the organization.
Industries in which we operateWe are happy to visit you for a comprehensive introductory meeting without any obligation. In this we will discuss:
-Background (organization, customers, ambitions, development in your markets, competition etc).
-The issue (reason and background of your issue, why it is important to address it now and what, if anything, you have already done to address the issue).
-Your own desires, expectations and any limitations you see
-Gemba Walk: preferably, we see your organization and physically walk through the process.
-Solution directions: we then discuss the approach(s) to work on the issue.
Then we create a customized proposal specific to your organizational issue.
If you like the proposal, we get to work together! Sometimes with a deeper diagnosis, sometimes directly with the proposed improvement and training activities. On a regular basis we discuss the progress and do our own PDCA on the trajectory: what goes well and how do we expand that, and what can be improved and how will we do that?
And finally, the results have been achieved, we round off well and keep us recommended for other issues from your own organization or those of your relations!
We work according to the Lean Transformation Model in which we look at several issues.
We asked LMI to support us with a Value Stream Mapping of our company. They were available at very short notice and delegated two Master Black Belts. The VSM process carried out was extremely successful. LMI's support in this was of eminent importance, because it enabled us to have full focus in a very short time and to arrive at insights through the chain in collaboration. And then to arrive at a shared vision. The LMI Master Black Belts are knowledgeable, experienced, with integrity and flexibility. It was a pleasure to work with them.
LMI provides training for E.ON for the various Belts, including the Lean Black Belt and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma. They also provide full certifications for our employees and are our sparring partner for various issues. I am very satisfied with the professionalism and flexibility of LMI and also with the thinking along by the LMI consultants. I can highly recommend LMI!
LMI helps us in our transformation to provide Albert Heijn customers with fresh cut vegetables, fruits, meal salads and fresh pizzas. They provide training, improvement processes (Kaizens) on our product families and practical help on the shop floor. But they have also helped us in our New Product Introduction process, and in setting up new production lines. This has already brought us many benefits: quality has improved, we throw away less good products, and so we also save a lot in our costs. I am happy with the help from the team at LMI: they are hands-on, flexible and help us make really good successes.
We have been working with LMI since 2011, and they help us with various issues of interest to our operating companies and our customers. For example, how we can make our homes and apartments cheaper and improve our internal processes. We are very satisfied with our cooperation!
Our director René is happy to think with you without any obligation. Feel free to call him!

A Lean transformation is a tilt of the entire organization from the current to desired future situation. Using Lean , the organization is redesigned. Customer, customer value and continuous improvement become the common thread throughout the organization. A Lean transformation requires learning a new way of thinking and acting. This way is not characterized by implementing a series of steps or solutions, but by addressing key questions about purpose, process and people. The video below from our Lean Global Network describes the Lean Transformation Model, narrated by Lean veteran John Shook.

The Lean Wave is based on the premise that every week (or two weeks) you get a short training on a Lean topic (1 to 2 hours) and then work on it (e.g. the same day) in your own practice under the guidance of an experienced coach. Read more about our approach at Lean Wave here.
