Strategy deployment at the municipality of Breda

The municipality of Breda has been working for years with Lean and continuous improvement. What started as separate improvement projects within a department has grown into a broader approach, in which work and improvements are made through strategy deployment with focus. The Lean Management Instituut helped with training in various fields (from belt training to customized training in Strategy Deployment) and coaching of the management team. We also published a book entitled ´The Lean Government: experiences of the municipality of Breda in creating value for its city.´
