Instead of letting a successful improvement stop with the team that came up with it, Yokoten ensures that this knowledge is immediately disseminated. This leads to faster organization-wide growth and avoids having to re-solve similar problems elsewhere.

A practical example:

A production team discovers that a specific valve on a machine is causing defects and improves the maintenance process. Thanks to Yokoten, this discovery is immediately shared with all other relevant teams and sites. They then proactively monitor their similar valves, preventing potential problems and increasing production reliability at each site.
