The director-owner of Rentex, one of the largest laundries in the Netherlands, was eager to work with its strategic partner UMCG to improve the laundry process aimed at higher delivery reliability and shorter lead times.
We helped them with an improvement process together with a team from Rentex and UMCG. By using a Glenday Sieve, a Value Stream Map of the current situation, we got a good view of the issues. And we developed ideas on how to improve the process together. The result was a better mutual understanding of the entire process, greatly improved delivery reliability (above 99%) and satisfied customers! Rentex now deploys the methods and techniques provided to every customer.
