Are you an ambitious and entrepreneurial Lean (Master) Black Belt consultant/trainer? Then this job opening might be for you!

Zeist

(Master) Black Belt

The Lean Management Institute helps organizations solve very diverse customer issues. We are ambitious and face various challenges. We are convinced that Lean is an incredibly powerful and at the same time very accessible methodology and philosophy to achieve our goals.

What will you do?

As a Lean consultant/trainer, you actively keep in touch with your network and know what's going on in their field. No day is the same: one day you guide a Lean transformation at a large production company, the next day you give an online workshop at a non-profit organization. You switch between the shop floor and management and really help people move forward. Consulting issues and training teams alternate, and if you have international ambitions, there are plenty of opportunities for assignments there as well. You can also play a role in developing and improving our (online) material. Or just use your qualities commercially!

What do you bring?

We are looking for colleagues with extensive experience in Lean Transformations in various industries (and possibly related methodologies), preferably also multi-year experience in leadership positions and in the training and consulting profession. You are communicatively strong and know how to motivate, advise and inspire colleagues and clients. You are able to understand client issues in multiple industries and at various levels. You are seen as a sparring partner and enjoy working in a team. You have proven commercial experience, are able to mobilize and expand your own network. You are able to translate customer needs into concrete substantive and commercial proposals and are fluent in Dutch and English (German and other languages are an advantage).

What do we bring?

The Lean Management Instituut is the knowledge institute in the field of Lean in the Netherlands. We are engaged in a number of main activities: developing and publishing educational material, organizing events, workshops, training and certification programs, and advising organizations. We have a nice club of colleagues who carry out beautiful projects both nationally and internationally (in cooperation with our international colleagues).

We bring guaranteed:

  • Interesting and challenging assignments (commercial, international and non-profit)
  • A fun club with advisors/trainers with passion for Lean
  • Top knowledge and experiences as part of the Lean Global Network, you can't get closer to the source
  • Responsibility and an independent role in assignments
  • Room for training and development
  • Every 2 weeks we meet for project management, continuous improvement, professional training and team building
  • Flexible employment
  • Competitive salary
  • Good fringe benefits
  • An inspiring work environment and beautiful office in a monumental building in Zeist, a very nice workplace in a wooded area
  • With us, basically a lot is possible, it's just what you want to make of it yourself!

About Lean Management Institute

For us, if we do Lean, we want to do it in the best possible way. That is why we are the only company in the Netherlands that is closely linked to the founders of the Lean philosophy, Jim Womack and Dan Jones and the organization they founded: the Lean Global Network. They did extensive research and developed the Lean methodology, and published many books on the subject.
